Tuning Microsoft Word’s proofing features to make them work for you
Microsoft Word's proofing features have come a long way over the years from the original, simple spell-check. Now it will auto-correct your spelling and flag your document with grammatical suggestions as you write it. Sometimes Word may seem to be a little too helpful. Fortunately, the proofing tools can be customized for your personal writing style. Access the Options menu in Word and then select the Proofing section.
